1. Preliminary Audition:
Submit an Application Form along with Audio Tape, CD or DVD of two contrasting
works from different periods that written for one piano four hands or chamber
Ensemble. Concertos are not permitted!
* Baroque
* Classic
* Romantic
* Impressionism
* 20th Century
Copy of birth certificate (passport), two glossy passport size photographs (suitable for
publicity purposes) must be include with non-refundable application fee of $80 per
applicant.

Applications submitted without the required information will be disqualified!

2. Deadline: Application Form and all four items must be complete and mailed no         
                                                                               later than May 1, 2008!

3. Competition: Audition Finalists will be notified by mail before May 16, 2008.
Third Annual Connecticut International Young Artist Competition will be open to the
public. It will take place at the First Congregational Church in Stamford, Connecticut.
Contestants must perform two works from Preliminary Audition!

4. Age Groups: Your age as of May 1, 2008 will determine your group.
Group 1: age up to 13
Group 2: age 14-18

5. Winners will be announced after the competition. All decisions made by jury will
be final and not subject to any appeal. All winners must be present at the Awards
Ceremony and Winners Concert in order to receive their prizes. 1st, 2nd and 3rd Prize
Winners will perform at the Winners Concert that will be held at the First
Congregational Church in Stamford, Connecticut on June 8, 2008.
